About This

• Wet Packed - Chemi-Pure is packaged wet (or more accurately, moist) for several key reasons related to its effectiveness and shelf stability.
• Pre-Activated Media - Chemi-Pure contains activated carbon and ion exchange resins that are most effective when moist. Wet packaging ensures the carbon remains activated and ready to use immediately—no rinsing or soaking is needed.
• Minimizing Dust & Breakage - The moisture in the packaging also: Reduces the amount of carbon dust, making it cleaner to handle and less likely to cloud the water upon use. Helps maintain the structural integrity of the resin beads, which can become brittle if dried.
• Shelf Stability and Freshness - Moist packaging: Preserves the chemical stability of the media over time. Ensures that the resins don't prematurely degrade or lose efficiency before they're even used in an aquarium.
• Ready-to-Use Convenience - Because it’s wet-packed: Chemi-Pure can be dropped directly into your filter or sump - no prep needed. Ideal for hobbyists who want an efficient, plug-and-play solution for water clarity and chemical balance.
